Issue

Error messages similar to the following appear, either during analysis or when accessing elements within the user interface:

“WARNING: Could not retrieve Visitor History Export data from wtliveglue. Undefined error.”

or

“The error ‘\WebTrends\common\database\mysql\tmp\#sql_16c8_0.MYI’ (Errcode: 2)’ occurred while running a SQL Query (see SQL in log file)”

Variations may contain references to the \mysql\tmp folder.

Cause

These error messages can result from the MySQL databases inability to create the \tmp folder in

\Webtrends\common\database\mysql\tmp

Resolution

When troubleshooting installations using MySQL, verify this folder exists. If it does not, create it, then attempt to reproduce the error.
