Issue
The Silverlight Support report shows many or all entries as “Unknown” as the version instead of an actual build number (e.g. 1.0, 2.0).
Cause
Due to the way Silverlight interacts with the browser, the web site itself must be “Silverlight ready,” even if it does not use Silverlight applications.
Resolution
This requires the silverlight.js include, which is available in the Silverlight SDK, which can be downloaded from the following URL:
