Cause
The 9.2 release of the SmartSource Data Collector is only supported on the 64-bit version of Windows Server 2008 R2. To be more specific, the version must be R2 due to functional requirements available in IIS 7.5, which were not included in the original release of Windows Server 2008.
The 32-bit versions of Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 are not supported for SDC installations, nor are any versions of Windows Server prior to Windows Server 2008.
