Cause
The IIS Management Console and IIS 6 Management Compatibility Role Services are required to successfully complete the installation of Webtrends Analytics 9.
Resolution
Add Server Roles as follows:
Navigate to Start > Administrative Tools > Server Manager.
In the navigation pane on the left, expand Roles, right-click Web Server (IIS), then select Add Role Services.
In the Select Role Services pane, scroll down to Web Server > Management Tools. Check the box for IIS Management Console and IIS 6 Management Compatibility.
Select Next, then select Install after confirming the selections.
Click Close to exit the Add Role Services wizard.
