Webtrends Analytics 8.x Issue
When checking the scheduler an alert displays:
“Error Retrieving Product Component Update Alert: error code=6”
No further indication is given relating to the failure. Resolution
This is a error that occurs when the system tries to check for updated components but is unable to reach the Webtrends servers. It does not affect the operation of Webtrends. To prevent this from occurring in the future, allow Webtrends access to the external internet.
