Issue
During installation of the product, after entering the product license key, the installation ceases and the following message displays:
error number 0x80040707
description: DLL function call crashed: ISRT._CoCreateObjectDotNet
An “install.log” file is generated but contains no useful information.
Resolution
Uninstall Microsoft .NET 2.0 from Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel, then download the .NET 2.0 redistributable package from the following URL:
