Issue

Backup events do not run on remote analysis machines.

Resolution

Perform a modified installation on the remote analysis machine(s), choose to install only “Tools” from under the “Main analysis application” tree.

When installing only the Analysis agent on a remote machine, the Webtrends installation package will install a directory called “Tools” which is where the backup utility executables are stored. However, the executables will not be usable until the “Tools” option has been installed from under the Main Application tree. Once “Tools” has been installed the backup events will run on the remote Analysis agent.
