Cause
When upgrading to Webtrends Analytics 9.2b from Webtrends Analytics 8.5a, the following message displays:
Thank you for downloading Webtrends On Premise 9.2b. Currently there is not a direct upgrade path from 8.5a to 9.2b.
Resolution
Webtrends Analytics 9.2b is functionally equivalent to 9.2a and includes localization support for English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
Please contact Webtrends Technical Support for detailed instructions on upgrading from 8.5a to 8.7d.
If you are currently using a non-English version of Windows and are on Webtrends version 8.5a, please contact technical support for an upgrade solution.
Once you have successfully upgraded from 8.5a to 8.7d you can then upgrade to 9.2b.
Note: Webtrends now offers a remote upgrade service allowing you to upgrade from any version as far back as 7.5b directly to the current release of Webtrends On Premise.
