Why are WT.gc values not being honored?

Issue

Wt.gc, in the format (WT.gc=LAT.#####,LON.#####) identifies the location of a mobile device. In certain circumstances, other geographical information provided in the traffic will override this.

Resolution

If an IP address is present in the hit, Webtrends geographic tracking tool, GeoTrends, will be used instead.

To use the values of the WT.gc parameter in reporting in these cases, create a custom report based on this parameter.
