Issue
Why are visits for Direct Traffic higher in the Referring Domain report than in the Referring Site and Referring Page reports?
Resolution
The Referring Site and Referring Page reports display the following referrer:
Window-Hidden-Referrer/
The Referring Site and Referring Page reports acknowledge this entry as a site or page. The Referring Domain report, however, is not able to identify a domain and this traffic is therefore lumped into the only other available bucket, Direct Traffic, causing the count in this report to be higher because it lacks the Window-Hidden-Referrer/ entry.
