What is GMT?

Resolution

GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). In Webtrends products, you can specify the time zone in which the web server generates its logs as an offset to (GMT). You can also specify your local time zone, or the time zone in which you want time references to appear in your reports, as an offset to GMT. Specify the time zone in which your web server operates. This is particularly useful if you have web servers in more than one time zone, and you want to see Analysis Series reports show your own local time. You can specify the time zone in which the web server generates its logs as an offset to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), and you can specify your local time zone, or the time zone in which you want time references to appear in your reports, also as an offset to GMT.

More Information

If your location is west of Greenwich, England up to the International Date Line in the Pacific Ocean, subtract your local time from GMT.

If your location is east of Greenwich up to the International Date Line, add your local time to GMT.
