Issue
What are the effects of disabling FTP port (20 and 21) access on the Webtrends server?
Resolution
As Webtrends does not normally use these ports this should have no impact on functionality. The exception to this is when FTP data sources are used. If this policy is a requirement then it is recommended that log files be retrieved via FTP from another machine, and then made available to Webtrends over a UNC share.
