Issue
With the release of Webtrends Analytics 9.2a, Streaming Media data sources are no longer available as an option under Administration > Application Settings > Data Sources. The decision to remove this dedicated feature resulted from infrequent use of this data source type combined with more efficient methods of tracking dynamic content. The functionality formerly provided by this data source type has been absorbed into the standard web log and SmartSource Data Collector data source types, and the recommended method of tracking this content is to use the Webtrends JavaScript tag in conjunction with the SmartSource Data Collector as a logging solution.
