Summary
Starting with Chrome 42 the NPAPI (Java) interface is disabled by default so Report Exporter will not run.
Issue
In Chrome 42 or higher you can not select “Save to file” when trying to export.
Cause
Chrome 42 disables the NPAPI interface by default so many older Java applets will not run.
Resolution
For versions of Chrome under version 45, NPAPI can be re-enabled by visiting chrome://flags/#enable-npapi. However, with version 45 and above it has been removed from Chrome completely (September 2015). More info:https://www.chromium.org/developers/npapi-deprecation
