Issue
Pages arrived at from clicking on anchor tags do not display the anchor tag appended to the URL in the Pages report.
Cause
This occurs because the presence of anchor tags, which follow the page file extension, interfere with the application’s ability to recognize the extension when the WT.dl parameter value is 21 (specific to anchor tags).
Resolution
The solution is to create a custom version of the Pages report with a dimension based on URL rather than Page, by which the page file type determination will be bypassed. Application of an include filter specifying query parameter and value WT.dl=21 will display activity for only clicks on links with anchor tags.
