Cause

In some instances where Webtrends fails to install or has been uninstalled, the Webtrends ISAPI filter is not removed during the uninstallation process.

Resolution

To manually remove this ISAPI filter, open Internet Information Services Manager, and under the section IIS open “ISAPI and CGI Restrictions”. Right-click on the WebTrends ISAPI and select “Remove”.
