Issue
When attempting to delete a data source, the following message displays:
Warning!
Can’t delete this Data Source. It is used in a profile.
Cause
This occurs when a profile which used the data source has been deleted but has not yet been removed from the system. Profiles are not deleted immediately, but are instead flagged for deletion which occurs 14 days later. As a result, it will not be possible to delete the data source until the profile has been expunged.
Resolution
To avoid seeing this message in the future, assign a data source that is going to be kept, to the profile in question, prior to deleting the datasource.
