The following error message is displayed when performing a clean installation of Webtrends:
Error installing component: Report configuration repository Error 1603.
Resolution
This error can occur in several situations involving resource requirements or if you are attempting to install on VMware. Confirm that the necessary resources are available on the machine on which Webtrends is being installed.
