Issue
When trying to access the Webtrends user interface, you are prompted to download a file called “Webtrends Reporting Center” instead of being taken to the login screen.
Cause
This happens when the web.config file for Tomcat is missing or corrupt.
Resolution
Replace the web.config file with the attached file (or insert it if it is not present). Stop all Webtrends services and place the file into the following location on the server:
\Webtrends\common\jakarta-tomcat\bin
You can also attempt a modified installation to correct this issue. To perform this task, follow the steps below:\

1. Uninstall the User Interface/Reporting and Administration module.
2. Rename the \Webtrends\common\jakarta-tomcat directory to a variant of your choosing.
3. Reinstall the User Interface/Reporting and Administration module.
