Cause
At present, the only cs-method requests Webtrends supports are GET, POST, and HEAD requests. Other cs-method requests such as OPTIONSwill be discarded. An invalid or empty cs-method value will return an error message during analysis stating “no valid log files found.”
More Information
The above only applies to analysis of these methods. In respect to licensing, if you are not using SmartSource Data Collector (SDC) log files and there are hits in the logs that contain HEAD, GET, or POSTas the cs-method, these will be counted against your licensed page views unless they are manually removed from the logs prior to analysis.
