Cause
To take advantage of the distributed architecture functionality when performing a custom installation of Webtrends Analytics, be aware that cross domain installations are not supported. All machines must be in the same domain, as is the user account used for the Webtrends application services.
More Information
Webtrends does not currently support LDAP (Active Directory) authentication for user accounts. Webtrends user accounts can only be configured to use Windows or Webtrends authentication.
