Cause
In the profile edit page under Advanced>Reports, there is a checkbox titled “Include Standard Reports”. This option enabled a series of standard reports. If this option is not selected, the profile is configured to use only reports selected in the reports list. This creates an issue in that some of the predefined dimensions do not work without Standard Reports being enabled.
The Dimensions that require Standard Reports being enabled are:
Browser Version
Browser
Content Group
Downloaded File
Exit Page
Page Views in Visit
Platform
Search Engine
Search Keywords
Search Phrase
Resolution
To enable Standard Reports, edit the profile and click on Advanced>Reports and check theInclude Standard Reports checkbox.
Templates can be configured to hide Standard Reports so they are not visible to the user.
