How to verify if the table limit was reached for a report

Products

Webtrends Analytics 8.x
Webtrends Analytics 9.x

Cause

A new page has been introduced on the web site but it does not display in a report such as the Pages report. The profile does not have URL rebuilding enabled, and no filters have been applied.

Resolution

To verify whether or not this is an issue resulting from table limitations, perform the steps below.

1. Edit the profile and select the Analysis > Table Sizes.
2. The first three columns display the report name (sorted alphabetically), Analysis Status, and Report Status. The Analysis Status and Report Status indicate how close these tables are to the specified limit:

If the indicator is gray the status for the analysis table size is below the limit.
If the indicator is yellow the status for the analysis table is within 20% of the limit.
If the indicator is red the status for the analysis table has reached the limit.

For versions earlier than 8.5x click on the question mark “?” in the upper right corner to display limit indicators for that version.

3. Scroll down to find the report in question. If either indicator is in the red, the table is full. This can also be confirmed by examining the 1D Analysis Count or 1D Report Count further to the right. If the value is equal to the limit plus one, this implies the table contains that many elements, and that there are others that fall outside the limit.
