Cause
Situations may arise where a measure should be decremented when negative values appear in order to properly calculate the total. For example, if two separate hits contain a value of 1 and -1 respectively, the measure would need to display a final value of 0 in the report data.
Resolution
Webtrends has the ability to automatically increment or decrement a measure’s value when the measure “Method” is set to “sum”. This “Method” field is available for selection when creating a custom report.
