Cause
All hits from Internet Explorer with Compatibility Mode enabled display as Internet Explorer 7 in the Browsers report.
Resolution
Because the browser information is currently based upon the first mention of the browser in the user agent field, the only additional information that would indicate that the browser is a newer version of IE is ignored. This has been filed as an enhancement request, and will be considered for inclusion in a future release of Webtrends Analytics.
