Cause
When comparing an unfiltered custom report to a similar measure in a standard report, or a different custom report, the custom report displays less data.
Resolution
When a custom report is created its dimensions only include the data for the most restrictive measure attached to the dimension. For example, a dimension based on a query parameter is assigned the measures “Visits” and “Visit Duration.” The “Visit Duration” measure only calculates data based on visits that are closed, and while the “Visits” measure would normally show both open and closed visits by default, the greater restriction for the “Visit Duration” measure forces the “Visits” measure to inherit the same restriction. It is not advisable to make comparisons between similarly constructed reports as subtle differences may result in disparities.
