Resolution
To restart a distributed installation of Webtrends, stop all the Webtrends services on all nodes within thedistributed environment first, leaving the services on the primary server (where the system database is located) running until all services on all other servers have completely stopped. Once the other services have been stopped, stop the services on the primary server, stopping the MS SQL/MySQL service(s) last.
Shut down each server in the distributed environment.
To restart the distributed installation, first start the primary server and verify all the Webtrends services have started including the MS SQL/MySQL services.
Once the primary server has started the remaining servers can be started in any order.
If the system database is on a separate server then the same steps above must be followed except after the last Webtrends server is shut down, restart the database service on the database machine. Once the database has restarted the rest of the servers can be started in any order.
