Cause
When trying to create a new user, the option to choose between Active Directory (AD) authentication and Webtrends authentication is unavailable.
Resolution
Navigate to “Administration > Application settings > Options” and check the box for “Windows Authentication”. This check box controls the ability to choose between AD and Webtrends authentication modes when creating new users.
Note: Webtrends can only authenticate users against the domain on which it is installed.
