‘Most Accessed Directory’/’Directories’ report is only showing top level directories

Products

Webtrends Analytics 8.x
Webtrends Analytics 9.x

Cause

The ‘Most Accessed Directories’/’Directories’ report is only showing top-level directories.

Resolution

Edit the profile in question. Look for the profile file name (GUID) on the Analysis -> General tab.

1. Using this profile GUID, open the following file:
webtrends\storage\config\wtm_wtx\datfiles\profiles\(GUID).wlp

2. Find the following line in the [PROFILE] section: TopDirectoriesMaxDepth=

3. If the line is not already present, add it.

4. Set the value. The default setting is 1, which means limit the report to just the top levels. To see the top two levels, set this value to 2. To see all directories regardless of level, set this value to 0.

5. Close and save the (GUID).wlp file.
