Cause
Implementation of the SmartSource Data Collector (SDC) plug-in on a Microsoft 2003 or later IIS server requires SSL certification for the IIS/SDC server to enable data collection for SSL tagged web pages/content.
Although the option to connect using SSL is available, acquisition of the required SSL-certificate and its site-specific application falls outside the scope of Webtrends Technical Support.
