How to disable collection of user name in SharePoint tagging

Cause

In some situations you may not want to collect personal information about your users within a SharePoint environment. This can be disabled by setting certain flags within the Webtrends load file and/or plugins.

To stop collecting just the username, the following options for the Webtrends SharePoint plugin should be set to “false”

• username
• userlogin
• dcsaut
• dcsvid

To disable the collection of all personal information about users, set the following options all to “false”:

• extraUserInfo
• username
• userlogin
• dcsaut
• dcsvid

Also, if you are using the Webtrends User Info Collector, that should be disabled to stop the collection of the SharePoint User Name.
