How to create a 2d and 1d parameter analysis report

Cause

The steps below describe how to create a 2d parameter analysis report.

Resolution

Based on the following example URL: http://www.example.com/test/leaf?catid=11111&docId=1234

1. Log into Webtrends
2. Navigate to Web Analysis > Report Configuration > URL Parameters > New
3. Enter a name for the URL parameter in the “Description” field
4. Enter /test/leaf in the “Page Name” field
5. Enter catid in the “Primary Parameter” field
6. Enter docID in the “Secondary Parameter (Optional)” field
7. Enter a name for the URL parameter in the “Name to display in reports” field
8. Click “Save”
9. Add it to the applicable profiles

To create a 1d parameter analysis report, repeat the above process and skip Step 6.
