Cause
Technical support has asked for system information for the purpose of identifying environmental factors that may be affecting a Webtrends installation.
Resolution
From the Windows start menu, select Run and enter the following command:
msinfo32
This will open the Windows System Information utility, which displays detailed information about the system’s hardware, operating system and installed software.
Next, select File > Save… and enter a name for the .nfo file. The file can then be sent as an attachment in a reply to the case notification email sent from Webtrends Technical Support, or else attached directly to the case in Webtrends’ Support Portal.
