Question
Collecting wtlicman output for licensing questions
Answer

Log in to the Webtrends server that contains the System Database component using the user account that is assigned to the Webtrends services. A Standard Operating System Administrator account will not have the proper access rights.

In the Webtrends user interface, under Administration > Application Settings > Licensing, information about the current anniversary year displays under the General tab. To view more detailed information, such as the number of licensed page views collected for each anniversary year, follow the steps below.

Open a command line window on the Webtrends server and navigate to the following location:

\Webtrends\common\lib

Type the following command:

wtlicman -s

Verbose licensing information displays.

To output this information to a text file, type the following command:

wtlicman -s > output.txt

A text file entitled "output.txt" will be created in the above location.

It might be necessary to use a 32-bit command prompt. If so, navigate to C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ and right click cmd.exe and then select Run as Administrator.
