Can Webtrends analyze IBM WebSphere log files?
Resolution
IBM WebSphere 9 uses IBM HTTP Server v9. This HTTP server is based off of Apache version 2.4.12 and has all the logging options that are found within Apache, which means it supports the mod_log_config module. This module allows Common or Extended log file formats and also allows cookies to be logged. Both the Common and Extended log file formats are supported formats and can be analyzed by Webtrends products.
For cookies to be tracked within the same log file as the remainder of log data, mod_usertrack or mod_atrack must be used.
