Issue
Are parameters and their values case-sensitive?
Resolution
When creating or using custom dimensions, non-Webtrends parameters are not case-sensitive and the query parameter will still be found in the hit as long as it is spelled correctly and found in the query string field of the log file. Webtrends parameters are also not case-sensitive and can accept the parameter and value as long as the spelling is correct.
Regardless of the lack of case sensitivity, it is considered best practice to ensure that anything defined in Webtrends or on a page has the proper spelling and case sensitivity to ensure a successful configuration and avoid possible confusion when troubleshooting issues related to those parameters.
