Introduction:
The Webtrends’ Data Collection API (DC API) has a limit of 8,192 characters combined between the cs-uri-stem and cs-uri-query strings. Although this allows numerous and lengthy query parameters to be attached to the URL, be advised that the limitation imposed by Webtrends’ analysis engine truncates data from the 2080th character. Webtrends recommends conservative application of query parameters and their values to avoid risk of data loss.
