Cause
When you have an exported report in CSV format, specific steps can be used in Excel to allow the characters to be properly rendered in the appropriate language.
Resolution
Use the Get External Data wizard in Excel to import your data into the desired format.
1. After your file has been exported, open Excel and click on Data.
2. In the Get External Data section, select From Text.
3. Select the file you exported from Webtrends Analytics and click Import.
4. When the Text Import Wizard opens, there will be a pull-down box for File Origin, select the language you need to render. UTF-8 will be “65001 : Unicode (UTF-8)”
5. Click Next.
6. Select your file delimiters and then select Finish.
