Cause
When creating a custom report using the Visitor History based Most Recent Campaign dimension all visitors that have not had a value set for that entry will show as “None” in the report. A visit filter can be created to remove those entries from the report.
Resolution
To create a visit filter to remove “None” values from reports based on Most Recent Campaign Value do the following:
1. Create a custom report level filter by going to Administration> Web Analysis> Report Configuration> Custom Reports> Filters and selecting “New” in the top right hand corner.
2. Give your new filter a name.
3. Select the “Visit” radio button to select the “Type of Filter”.
4. Click “New” to add a new “Match Criteria”.
5. Select “Entry Page” from the “Filter On” drop down.
6. Enter * for the “Page Expression”.
7. Click on “New URL Parameter” to add a new parameter.
8. Enter WT.vr.rac for the “Parameter Name”.
9. Set the “Parameter Value” to “Equal To” and .*
10. Select the “Regular Expression” radio button and click “Done”.
11. Add the filter as an include to any report based on the “Most Recent Campaign ID” dimension.
