Cause
Webtrends allows you to specify file names that are considered home page file names. These are common default pages for a web server to serve up when no specific web page in a directory is provided.
The default home page file names are:
default.htm default.html index.htm index.html default.asp default.aspx
This presents an issue with SharePoint sites as default.aspx is not considered a home page, but is a specific file that must be explicitly requested.
Resolution
This can be changed within Webtrends Analytics 9.x On Premises by performing the following steps:
1. Edit the SharePoint profile
2. Under Analysis, select Home
3. In the Home Page File Names, remove “default.aspx”
4. Click Save
