What are the defining criteria for creating passwords in Webtrends?
Answer
The following specifications define the minimum character-length, maximum character-length, and content requirements for Webtrends' authenticated passwords.
 
Passwords must:
  • Contain at least 10 characters
  • Not exceed 20 characters
  • Contain both uppercase and lowercase letters (a-z, A-Z)
  • Contain at least one number (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9)
  • Contain at least one symbol ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + -={ } | [ ] \ : ; ? , . /
  • Not be part of the user name
  • Not contain the user's first or last name
  • Not contain spaces
  • Not match any of the five previous passwords (default - configurable in accounts settings)
