Question
Is the Content Groups report based on hits or page views?
Answer
The Content Groups report is based on hits. A hit is a request to the web server regardless of the file type. A page view is a request to the web server for a pre-defined page file type (html, htm, asp, php). An example of a hit that is not a page view are requests for images (gif, jpg, bmp, png).
