Cause
For standard page interactions, Webtrends JavaScript tag sends requests to the data collection server, but not all relevant traffic may be logged. Webtrends dcsMultiTrack technology makes it possible to track page views for nearly all types of events, including JavaScript, Flash, and other dynamic content. Data that dcsMultiTrack can capture includes:
- Flash events such as start, finish, progress, and clicks within a Flash application
- Ajax interactions
- Downloads of files that cannot be tagged, such as PDF or compressed archives.
- Form completion
- Any event that launches JavaScript
